Garages next to modest homes in Silicon Valley are home to the beginnings for some of today’s tech giants like HP, Apple and Google. This track record inspires the dreams of many aspiring entrepreneurs today. After all, you are as close as your home’s garage to start up your new life.

HP, the oldest of all, was founded in a garage in Palo Alto. This garage was categorized as a historical site and regarded as the Birthplace of Silicon Valley. In 2000, HP purchased the property to rehabilitate it as a gesture of pride and responsibility to its heritage. Today, the garage is not only a humble display of a giant’s birthplace, but also a storyteller of the Silicon Valley culture.
